
Redmond, Washington is located on the east side of Lake Washington, north of Bellevue and east of Kirkland. The city center is around 15 minutes from Seattle. Redmond is famous for being the home of Microsoft Corporation, and is also known as the “Bicycle Capital of the Northwest.” Part of Redmond borders the west side of Lake Sammamish, a popular waterskiing lake. Marymoor Park is a popular Redmond attraction, with 640 acres that include a velodrome, concert areas, playing fields, and a 40-acre off-leash dog park.
